Kate’s a familiar face across both daytime and primetime programming on the BBC, ITV, Five and Animal Planet. Her latest roles have seen her as a rural reporter on ITV1’s Countrywise, hosting Project Puppy for Animal Planet and presenting travel and competition pieces for GMTV.

Kate’s rigorous journalistic sense coupled with her ability to get ‘stuck in’ has led to her becoming the face of the Two Six programme for The Royal Navy where she has experienced everything from working with the Northern Diving Group to interviewing soldiers bound for, and returning from, Afghanistan. A mix of undercover pieces, door-stepping and gritty narrative further highlighted her fearless streak in MacIntyre’s Big Sting on Five and BBC 1’s Real Story.

Kate’s other TV credits include showbiz reporting for Film 24, DIY SOS for BBC1, Trading Treasures, Bootsale Treasure Hunt, I Want That House and the science show The Big Bang for ITV1. She has also featured in both radio and TV adverts, hosted and presented corporate events and videos, voiced numerous documentary series for television and has a wealth of live experience.
Having studied Geography at Nottingham University Kate went on to indulge her wanderlust by travelling around the world bringing her adventurer side to the surface as she walked the Machu Picchu Trail in Peru, climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and trekked around East Africa before returning to London to begin her TV Career. Starting out as a runner Kate soon acquired extensive production credentials working as a researcher, director and producer before becoming a presenter on Wish You Were Here, and the face of five’s live youth programme The Core.

Inspired by working on numerous property shows Kate has a keen interest in commercial property development and has just extended her portfolio in the northwest and opened a baby shop. She is also a key buyer for the family fashion business and can often be found scouring the London catwalks for this seasons must haves.

Whether it’s undercover reporting, rushing around a bootsale, interviewing A-list movie stars or hunting out hot property Kate can turn her hand to anything. One of her major strengths as a presenter is her ability to bring out the best in people whatever the situation. That coupled with her fun and quick witted personality means she’s cheeky and charming in just the right measure.
